Amber gained her credentials as a Registered Dental Hygienist from Daytona State College in 2021 and has been with our practice ever since. She follows a commitment to providing the utmost care for her patients and strives to help them feel as comfortable as possible. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, relaxing at the beach, and reading in her free time. She is also a native of Ormond Beach, which is something you don't come by too often!
Shannon Completed her associate of science degree in dental hygiene from Daytona State College in 2016. She moved from the west coast of Florida to pursue her dream of becoming a dental hygienist. Shannon was a dental assistant for 6 years prior to being a dental hygienist. Shannon enjoys educating her patients about their oral needs and loves the field of dentistry. In her free time, she enjoys going to the beach, walking, and spending time with her son.
Lilian’s career in dentistry spans nearly 15 years. For about half of that time, she practiced as a dentist in Cuba, and later transitioned to a role as a dental hygienist. She is an EFDA with certifications in CPR and radiology. Our patients love her fun attitude. She always ensures they leave with a big smile! Outside of work, Lilian loves spending time with her supportive family, eating Cuban food, and enjoying all kinds of music and dancing. She is bilingual and speaks both English and Spanish.
Sindy started in dentistry as a dental technician in 2015. It was soon after that Sindy began dental assisting full-time and has loved it ever since. During this time, she has founded very rewarding to see both sides; from the laboratory to the dentist. When Sindy is not working, she enjoys going to the beach, to restaurants, being outdoors, and spent time with her family and friends.
Ayla completed her education at the Dental School in Brazil in 2019. She is certified in CPR and first Aid. She loves learning new things at the dental office every day and meeting people from all over the world. Ayla loves caring for and helping others feel comfortable in the chair of the dental office. Bringing the best feelings during their attendance. She is bilingual, speaking Portuguese and English. While learning Spanish also. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Instagram Photography, walking outside, going to church and knowing new places (her dream is to do all 50 states).
Emillie got her start in the dental field in 2013 working in her hometown Preston, Idaho. Since then she has been able to pick up several skills along the way, as she made her way to Florida in 2019. Emillie takes a lot of pride in making each visit comfortable for a patient and helping the doctor provide a high standard of care. Emillie is currently taking classes at Daytona State College pursuing a degree in dental hygiene.
Omar got his start in the dental field 7 years ago. He attended the Hester School of Dental Assisting, as well as Daytona State College. He is certified in CPR and radiology and has his EFDA certificate. Having 6 years of dental assisting experience he has culminated his knowledge over time to train as an on-site digital dental designer. Experience with dental-specific design software including Exocad, InLab CAD, and CEREC. Omar loves trying new foods, traveling, and meeting people from all over the world.
Alexis completed her education at the AAA Dental School in Sanford and became an EFDA in 2018. She is certified in CPR, first aid, and radiology. She loves learning new things every day at the dental office, as well as being able to care for others and help them feel comfortable as the team addresses their needs and concerns. Alexis was born and raised in Orange City. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her two dogs, cooking, and decorating her home.
Emily was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. Her favorite hobby is cooking and trying new recipes she finds on the internet. In high school, she used to volunteer in a hospital, assisting nurses with patient care. An interesting fact about her is that she was introduced to dentistry by her older sister, who is currently completing her senior year in dental hygiene. Emily aspires to pursue a career in dental hygiene in the near future.
While a recent hire, Heidi has proven herself a skilled dental assistant. That much is natural – she’s a graduate of the Valdosta Dental Assistant School with years of field experience. Since joining the office, she’s found quality patient care to be the best part of her job. Originally from DeLand, Heidi was raised by a kind and compassionate family. Her hobbies include time with loved ones, beach fun, church activities, and exercise. One interesting about her is that she was a competitive gymnast for eleven years!
Jennifer was born and raised in Sunny South Florida. Her interests are traveling, scrapbooking, spending time with family and friends. She comes to work each day motivated to make a difference in patients' experience and excited to grow in the dental field.
Kristen was born and raised in our great state of Florida and has over five years of dental experience. She is a new “dog mom” to her puppy named Hazel. Her favorite hobbies are baking and crocheting. Her favorite pastime is to volunteer and teach others about the bible.
Emily was raised in Deltona, Florida after moving down from Upstate New York. She is attending Daytona State College pursuing a bachelor’s degree in the medical field. Emily strives to give her 100% to every patient she encounters and can answer any insurance questions you may have! She also hopes to create a safe and comfortable environment for the patients hoping to schedule. She is the youngest of three and an aunt to her favorite person Rosalie. She spends all her free time with her family and friends. One interesting fact about Emily is that she was born on a military base in Hawaii, Honolulu.
Mykaela was born and raised in central Florida and recently moved to Volusia County. Shortly after moving here, she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Exercise Science Pre-Clinical from Bethune Cookman University. She is new to the dental field and looking to further her career and knowledge of dentistry. Mykaela says dentistry is a promising career fit for her because she loves to help people. Growing up, she knew she wanted to be in healthcare and chose dentistry to create a lifelong relationship with patients and to help them love their smiles.
